III. Improve your translation skills by translating the following sentences into English.
Современный терроризм помножен на техногенный фактор, отчего борьба с ним превращается в крайне сложное, дорогостоящее и редко когда успешное занятие. Угроза терроризма несет экономические последствия, трудно оцениваемые в цифрах, но весьма значительные для страны и ее граждан. Ужесточение мер безопасности после событий 11 сентября в американских (и не только) аэропортах привело к масштабным потерям времени у авиапассажиров, а также к дополнительным расходам у авиакомпаний. Парижское метро после терактов лет 10 назад было вынуждено пойти на дополнительные издержки, связанные как с обеспечением безопасности, так и просто с уборкой - там не стало урн, как, кстати, тоже после теракта, нет их и в московском метро. Но самый, пожалуй, характерный пример - Израиль, где интифада привела к затяжному экономическому спаду. Государственные финансы оказались перегружены расходами на обеспечение безопасности. Высокие налоги привели к сворачиванию одних проектов, а утечка мозгов - других. Дополнительная нагрузка по обеспечению безопасности, лежащая на копаниях, приводит к росту издержек, сокращению прибыли и дополнительному росту цен. Результатом является еще большая коррупция среди чиновников и милиции, не способствующая выполнению ими своих прямых обязанностей. Что, кстати, тоже не улучшает деловой климат. Таким образом, к сожалению, комплекс проблем, связанных с волной террора, выходит далеко за пределы проблем собственно безопасности. Так что угроза терроризма - это не только угроза безопасности граждан, а недостаточные или ошибочные действия властей могут иметь крайне неприятные последствия для экономики страны.
