Structural-geomorphological zoning of Yakutian diamond province central part using gis

For understanding of fuller picture of geomorphological conditions in the Yakutian diamond provinces (YDP) central part on a number with the analysis horizontal dissection of relief [1] the analysis of a gradient horizontal dissection which sense consists in "speed" of change across horizontal degree horizontal dissection of relief using GIS .

On the gradient horizontal dissection scheme northern part of area with very low values of a gradient and are isolines is accurately allocated. In a southern part values of a gradient the highest. All areas on the gradient dissection scheme have the extended character. It is allocated two types: 1) areas extended locally enough no more than 100 km; 2) areas extended regionally more than 100 km. It is possible to spend two types lineaments on all these areas along their trending: local and regional. Have been spent borders on regional lineaments. It was allocated three types areas: 1) areas without local lineaments, 2) areas with a small quantity of lineaments, 3) areas with a considerable quantity of lineament, spent on areas with the maximum gradient horizontal dissection value. Having compared lineaments with the horizontal dissection of relief scheme, it has been established, that all regional geological structures differ from two geomorphological indication: horizontal dissection of relief and a gradient dissection. It was allocated six structural areas on the basis of it six. Borders of this areas, basically, correspond to borders structurally-formation complexes. As the gradient horizontal dissection is connected with geological structures on this basis the scheme of structural orderliness of the YDP central part is made, constructed on the basis of the gradient horizontal dissection scheme, to be exact character of a direction local lineaments.

In total it is allocated six areas with different structural orderliness. From each other three regional geological structures which are characterised by various orderliness accurately differ: Anabarskaya anticlise without orderliness, Tunguskaya syneclise with northwest orderliness and Viljujskaya syneclise with radially-concentric orderliness. The transitive area from Anabarskaya anticlise to Viljujskaya syneclise which is complicated by the Viljujsko-Marhinsky faults zone, consists of three blocks: two blocks with northeast orderliness which are divided by the block with radial orderliness. Such division proves heterogeneity in a structure and history of geological structures development, as YDP in particular, and the Siberian platform as a whole.
