15.  Let’s speak on: a) answer the following questions and be ready to tell your groupmates about yourself:

16. Discussion: Now you begin a course of English study at University. It is very important to know what you think about it. Is it necessary for a future economist to study a foreign language?

17.  Render into English:

1. Экономическая наука – это наука о деятельности, связанной с производством, распределением, обменом и потреблением товаров и услуг.

2. Экономическая наука изучает поведение людей в различных хозяйственных ситуациях, чтобы помочь людям, фирмам и государству понимать и прогнозировать последствия своих сегодняшних решений в сфере экономики.

3. Существуют разные эко­номические учения, течения и подходы, которые по-разному трактуют и оценивают одни и те же экономические события, явления.

4. Экономические ресурсы, т. е. средства (means), необходимые для производства экономических благ (economic good), ограничены.

5. Экономические знания применяются (are applied) к таким объектам, как предпринимательская деятельность (business) и предприятие.
