My product will go under Gatorade brand that is a division of PepsiCo’s company. I’m planning to extend Gatorade product line with a new product, named Gatorade-Power. It is a sport drink that induces a body to lose fat due to the reaction of caffeine and ephedrine, and, it also contains a number of amino acids such as glutamine, leucine, isoleucine and valine that are there to sustain muscles during the fat loss process. People drinking this superior sport drink will benefit in terms of easiness to build an athletic body shape. They need just to drink one bottle of Gatorade-Power daily before the workout and on non-workout days in the mornings, and they will be fit. This product will be a shopping product; it means that consumers will be able to find it in most of the stores. The company does not have any similar products to this one yet. There is Gatorade-Prime Activer that is produced for pre-workout on the market and the other ones such as Gatorade-Perform, Gatorade-Recover is established to give energy for athletes during workout and proteins after workout (GSeries). But, none of these brands is not supplying the customers with a feature to lose fat. The main competitors of Gatorade-Power in North America are Coca-Cola's Powerade and Vitaminwater. However, these companies are doing a great job in the North America, PepsiCo's company with their Gatorade brand is getting the highest per cent of market share in the United Sates among sport drinks companies, 75% (Gatorade Firm-Guide). The competitive advantage of Gatorade-Power will be a product differentiation advantage. People can find only fat burners stored in powders in the nutrition stores such as GNC and Nutrition House. My product is a liquid, and it is packaged in bottle. The accessories are going to be the same that already exist in the market that are Gatorade Bike Bottle and Gatorade 32 oz Squeeze Bottle (GSeries). My main competitors that are Powarade and Vitaminwater do not have such products the fat burners, as I will do. Gatorade will be available in three great tasting flavors (Strawberry Kiwi Rain, Tropical Mango A.M., Super Bowl Berry), and sold in two-bottle sizes: “32 fl. oz.” and “20 fl. oz.” (List of Gatorade Flavors) There will not be a specific feature how to store Gatorade-Power. It either can be stored in refrigerator or in dry place. This product will have an expiry date of 9 days (How Long Do Sport Drinks Last? Shelf Life Expiration). The only one thing is if anybody has opened a bottle of Gatorade-Power, the expiry date of a product will be 5 days; otherwise, if anybody stores it longer, the product will spoil. The quality level of Gatorade-Power will be medium, as this product can be found in most of the grocery stores in the USA and Canada. According to the branding, the company of PepsiCo uses different brand names for different products, it has an individual branding, Gatorade (Lamb et. al. 148). Moreover, Gatorade-Power will have two types of labelling. The first one will be informative; it will be illustrated on the package as ingredients and features. The other one will be persuasive that will focus on promotional logo. Persuasive labelling will be illustrated on the package as logo “new”. Gatorade-Power will have limited implied warranty. For example, if somebody had bought a bottle of Gatorade-Power and noticed that the product has spoiled before the expiry date, the person may return the product, and he/she will get money back without any problems.
