Task: Study the following conversational phrases denoting time.
2:00 - It’s two o’clock.
2:05 - It’s two five
It’s five past two
2:10 - It’s two ten
It’s ten past two

It’s a quarter past two

2:20 - It’s twenty past two
00 – 12 – a.m. (ante meridiam) = before noon
12 – 00 – p/ m/ (post meridiam) = after noon

There is a time and place for everything. Всему свое время и место.
Times change – Времена меняются.
Lost time is never found again. Потерянного времени не воротить.
If you lose time, your opportunity may be lost and you may face trouble or danger – 1) Долго не рассуждай, а скоро делай. 2) На месте застрял - от жизни отстал. 3) Мешканьем города не возьмешь.
Business first, but there must be time for leisure. 1) Делу – время, потехе – час. 2) Кончил дело – гуляй смело.
What is done, cannot be undone. – 1) Пропущенный час - годом не наверстаешь. 2) Сделанного не воротишь.
