В 1760 году Кант в своей практической философии пытался показать, как наша моральная жизнь основывается на рациональном и общедоступном законодательстве, аналогичном политическим принципам Русо.
Все наши теоретические знания ограничиваются систематизацией того, чем являются простые пространственно-временнные явления.
По мнению Канта, существует единый мир материй, взаимосвязанных по воле Бога.
Кант дополнил свою первую «Критику» несколькими равнозначно влиятельными работами по практической философии.
Практический разум в целом характеризуется как то, что определяет правила для области желания и воли, в противопоставление областям познания и чувств.
Кант заявляет, что математика и метафизические толкования наших представлений пространства и времени могут разоблачить несколько очевидных искусственных априорных утверждений, что существует одно бесконечное пространство.
Категорический императив – это указывающее (директивное) заявление (высказывание), что должно быть сделано с перспективы чистого разума.
Законы должны уважать свободу всех рационально-мыслящих существ.
Моральный критерий (ценность), в конечном счете, определяется природой намерения действующего лица, которое в свою очередь определяется природой того, что Кант называет общим правилом поведения (принципом), лежащим в основе действий человека.
