Passport control officer (P): Good morning, your passport please.

Monica (M): Here you go.

P: How long will you be staying in Germany?

M: One week, then I'll be flying to Sweden.

P: Thank you. Goodbye.

M: Goodbye.

M: Lena, is that you?

Lena: Yes, hi Monica! Have you already landed?

M: Yeah, half an hour ago. I'm waiting at the baggage claim. Everyone else has already got their luggage, but my bag still hasn't arrived.

L: Oh, no! Maybe you should tell someone?

M: Yeah, I'll do that. Where are you?

L: Really close! I'm waiting for you right next to the exit.

M: Ok, see you in a bit.

L: See you!

M: Excuse me.

Airport official (A): One moment, please. So, how can I help you?

M: I just arrived on the plane from Rio, and my suitcase is missing.

A: Oh, well let's see then. Can you show me your ticket please?

M: Sure. Will it take long?

A: Only a few minutes. I just need to get your details. - That's strange, your suitcase isn't registered in the system. Could you describe it for me?

M: It's red, medium sized, and it has wheels.

M: Yes, what is it?

M: To declare? What do you mean?

T: Alcohol, cigarettes?

M: No, just a bottle of Brazilian beer. I can bring that into the country, can't I?

T: Sure, one bottle isn't a problem. But we have enough beer in Germany, you know.

M: That's true, but it's a present for a friend.

T: Okay, then have a nice time in Germany.

L: Monica, there you are!

M: Lena, finally! Oh man, you'll never guess what happened...
