RULE

Инфинитив в функции определения стоит после определяемого существительного, часто встречается в форме пассивного залога: to be + причастие II , например: to be repaired , to be carried, to be done, to be made etc. и обычно переводится на русский язык придаточным предложением со значением: …который должен; …который будет. The bearings to be lubricated will be given to them. Им будут даны подшипники, которые должны быть смазаны. The ship to carry timber cargo is under construction. Судно, которое будет перевозить лес, строится.

Упр. 8. Замените выделенные части предложений инфинитивом.

Ex.: He has a lot of books which he can read.

He has a lot of books to read.

1) I would like to offer you the spare parts which you can buy.

2) Here is a boatswain who will do this work.

3) Have you chosen the project of the vessel which you will build?

Упр. 10. Переведите предложения на русский язык, обращая внимание на Active Infinitive и Passive Infinitive в функции определения.
