We are having to divert to another airport because of local weather conditions. The airport may be closed because of thick fog. Our alternate is Manchester but the weather at London might improve for us to land. The captain will make a de¬cision about landing. We'd be grateful for some definite information. They forecast that fog should lift sufficiently for aircraft to land. IS it cer¬tain that we won't divert to the alternate? The captain will inform us of the time we can expect to land. A later weather forecast indicates that the fog will regain all day, we'll have to divert to our alternate.
