• to differentiate articles depending on a situation;

I. Phonetics

1. Особенности звукового и грамматического строя английского языка.

44 звука - 26 букв

Гласные: a, e, i, o, u, y. Пять клавиш с английскими гласными находятся в первом ряду клавиатуры компьютера, а шестая гласная "а" расположена во втором ряду слева на самой первой клавише. Это подчеркивает высокую частотность их употребления.

Фонетическая транскрипция: [´], [:].

2. Алфавит. Звуки и произношение.

4. Английская интонация: нисходящая и восходящая.

Существует 2 тона: нисходящий и восходящий.

5. Ритм.

`Passengers can `take a `small bag onto the ↓plane.

II. Grammar

1. Articles:

   1. Неопределённый артикль. Indefinite articles: a, an.

a plane, an apple, an hour

2. Определённый артикль. Definite article the.

[ბə] the desk, [ბi] the apple

This is a hat. The hat is nice.

2. Verb "to be".

Порядковые (ordinal numbers): 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th, 6^th, 7^th, 8^th, 9^th, 10^th, 11^th, 12^th, 13^th, 14^th, 15^th, 16^th, 17^th, 19^th, 20^th, 21^st, 22^nd, 23^rd, 24^th, 25^th,…100^th, 1000^th, a millionth.
