Introductory text My Biography

My first name is Boris. My full name is Boris Smirnov. I am seventeen years old. I live in Kazan. I was born in 1995 in Bugulma in the family of the doctor. My father is a surgeon. He works at a hospital. My mother is a nurse. She works at a hospital too. My parents have been married for 26 years. They have much in common.

When I was in the eleventh form I made up my mind to enter the Kazan State Medical University and become a pharmaceutist.

The term of study at the pharmaceutical facult lasts five years. Educational program is made up of general and professional subjects. We master fundamentals of theoretical and practical pharmacy. We study Inorganic and Organic Chemistry, Physics, Foreign Language, Latin, Botany and others.

My family is not large. I have a brother and a sister. My elder brother is ten years older than I. He is 27 years old. He graduated from Kazan State Medical University. He is a physician. He is married. His wife is a fourth-year student of the Teachers’ Training Institute. He has a great talent for languages. She speaks English very well and she knows French and German, too. My sister is 25 years old. She is an interpreter. She is single.

I want to become a highly-experienced and qualified specialist. I’d like to get deep knowledge of pharmacy and learn foreign languages.
