5.5 Convergence
The phenomenon of convergence,
or the similarities in symptoms, known as many existing and minerals
near and distant forms of animals and plants, or being found in the
same conditions, or under different conditions, also finds a parallel
variation, if not homologous, then the same . Body of evidence of
convergence in animals and plants is growing every year. Linden has
set many cases convergence gastropods. Alverdes recently published a
paper on the parallel development of birds and mammals.
