Методические указания для студентов по выполнению практических работ по дисциплине «Английский язык» представляют собой сборник лексико-грамматического материала для студентов I курса. Является базовым курсом, состоящим из 10 уроков, направленных на развитие навыков разговорной речи по бытовой тематике. Включает в себя лексико-грамматический практикум и краткий грамматический справочник.

Введение
Методические указания для студентов по выполнению практических работ по дисциплине «Английский язык» составлены в соответствии с учебным планом и рабочей программой, утвержденной в 2008 году. Методические указания подготовлены к занятиям по курсу “Практика устной речи” в количестве 78 часов для студентов разных уровней языковой подготовки. Пособие является комплексом, систематизирующим материал по основным языковым параметрам и видам речевой деятельности и включающим в себя:
1) комплекс коммуникативных упражнений, направленных на активизацию лексического материала;
2) тексты и задания к ним для углубления коммуникативной компетенции студентов в рамках темы, а также развития навыков различных видов чтения;
3) речевые задания, совершенствующие умения и навыки монологической и диалогической речи;
4) задания для развития навыков аудирования ;
5) упражнения на активизацию в речи фраз повседневного общения;
6) поурочный тематический словарь, представленный в виде лексико- семантических групп слов;
7) тексты для обсуждения и задания для проектных работ студентов, обеспечивающие деятельностный характер иноязычного общения;
8) комплекс иллюстраций, необходимых для выполнения речевых
заданий;
9) грамматический справочник с упражнениями;
10) вопросы и задания для самопроверки.
Пособие состоит из 10 блоков, имеющих общую структуру, которые объединены по тематическому принципу в соответствии с единой методической концепцией. Каждый блок включает в себя лексическую тему, грамматический справочник с упражнениями, фразы для повседневного общения с заданиями на активизацию их в речи. Проблема презентации активизации и закрепления языкового материала в методической разработке решается в неразрывной связи с проблемой системного подхода к обучению как лексике, так и грамматике, что обеспечивает достаточный уровень языковой компетенции студентов. Предлагаемый лексико-грамматический материал направлен на развитие общеязыковых коммуникативных компетенций, активизацию творческой инициативы, самостоятельности, ответственности, организованности.
Наличие разнообразных разноуровневых упражнений и заданий позволяет использовать как индивидуальную, так и разные формы интерактивной деятельности обучаемых (парную, групповую, фронтальную), предполагает обязательную предварительную самостоятельную проработку изучаемого материала. Разнообразие тренировочных, условно-речевых, игровых упражнений способствуют глубокому усвоению лексических единиц. Грамматические тренировочные задания составлены на основе аутентичных источников, включающих в себя материал английских и американских учебных пособий, направлены на отработку грамматических навыков, необходимых для осуществления коммуникации общего характера без искажения смысла при письменном и устном общении. Изучению на I курсе подлежит система простых и длительных времен, местоимения, предлоги места, времени, речевые конструкции there is/there are; would like; безличные предложения, модальные глаголы и их эквиваленты, степени сравнения прилагательных, типы вопросительных предложений.
Методические указания для студентов по выполнению практических работ дополняются сборником контрольно-измерительных материалов, составленным на основе изученного лексико-грамматического минимума и позволяющим обобщить, систематизировать рассмотренную ранее информацию.
