Using the by-phrase

Exercise 11. Change these active sentences to passive. Keep the same tense. Include the - by-phrase - only if necessary.

Indirect Objects as Passive Subjects

Exercise 13 – ORAL. Identify the indirect object. Change the sentences to the passive by using the indirect object. Keep the same tense. Use the - by-phrase - only if necessary.

Transitive and Intransitive Verbs

Exercise 14 – ORAL. Circle transitive if the verb takes an object ; circle intransitive if it doesn’t. Underline the object of the verb.
