This school year is special for me. I have to choose my own way and to decide what to do in the future. I can enter a college or start working. I also can go on studying at school to have a chance to enter a university. I realize quite well that all my life may depend on my decision. That isn’t really an easy choice

There are several factors that influence the decision of young people. They concern the material and moral values of the future profession. Much depends on the inclination and personal interests. Sure, it goes without saying that it is perfect when hobby becomes a profession. Though in reality it happens really seldom.

As for me, I’m not actually concerned about the fact if my fact is prestigious. But what is important is working conditions, people around me and the excitement of the working day. Even money is of secondary importance. The future profession should be interesting and meet the demands of the person.

Exam. Card 76 Speaking

A lot of young people in Ukraine spend their free time doing sports, playing music or doing other activities. some of them are club members. Participating in different clubs is a good chance to develop one’s gifts or abilities. You can also make new friends there. As for me, the best clubs are sport clubs. It might be football or boxing club for boys or tennis, swimming, skating club for girls. Sport not only makes us cheerful and beautiful but also makes us be healthy. It really opens new opportunities for everyone. I wish I could attend swimming club. I wish there was a pool in my small town. But what we actually can admire is a splendid tennis club. I really adore this game. I’m not the winner but I love to work and to develop myself.

I wish every person could find his interest in his real life, not in the cyber space of computers!

Exam. Card 78 Speaking

Life would be terrible if we only have to work. We all sometimes need time to relax, have some rest or just enjoy ourselves. A hobby is just the way we spend our free time. It’s something pleasant and interesting we do regularly.

It’s something both for our souls and for bodies.

Nowadays there is a great number of opportunities for young people to take up as a hobby. Most young people enjoy listening to music, especially in a loud way, watching films, playing computer games. Though we all realize quite well that these activities do more harm than good to our development and health. A lot of young men do sports or study arts. I’m sure that these activities make us healthier, happier, help us make friends and teach us how to keep and value them.

I feel so sorry for those teenagers who spend all their free time online. They don’t even know how amazing the real life can be if you know how to have fun with close people, how nice it is to understand them and be understood, or just laugh together, not only type ‘ ha-ha-ha’ on your keyboard.

As for me, my hobby is travelling on foot. The best day for me is the day spent with my friend at a campsite, by the fire or simply on a new track somewhere in the forest.
