Present Continuous
We use this tense for describing temporary actions and situations which are happening now or over a longer period of time. Besides we use it for describing pictures and people.
Positive sentences:
I am buying some food.
You/we/they are buying some food.
He/she is buying some food.
Negative sentences:
I’ m not buying food.
You/we/they aren’t buying food.
He/she isn’t buying food.
Questions:

You can distinguish Present Simple and Continuous by words-markers.
