5. What modern means of communication do you prefer?

It’s hard to imagine our lives without Internet nowadays. It has become an important part of every person’s life. It seems that Internet has created a whole new history. It has drastically changed everything around. Computers were also an important invention, but Internet is better than any other type of information. Besides, it’s not only used for information, but also for global communication. Originally, Internet was a military experiment in the USA of 60-s. But soon it became clear that everyone in the world can use it. Since the time of Internet appearance, many other media sources became unnecessary. From one side, it’s great to have everything right here online, from the other side, it’s a shame that people have stopped reading paper books and newspapers. That’s because all books or prints can be found online, as well as all films and programs. One of the obvious advantages of Internet is its efficiency. You can find the information you’re looking for in 5 seconds. Just google it and here is the answer. It is very convenient for students, professionals, experts and all other people. In spite of all the good sides that Internet has, there are some drawbacks. First of all, they are viruses, which can be very dangerous for any computer. That’s why it’s good to have reliable anti-virus software installed. Other minus is the violent content. As well as on TV, there is a lot of violence and cruelty online. Nevertheless, every day millions of people turn on their computers and start surfing the worldwide net, because it’s the easiest and quickest way to stay informed.

12. All the world is a stage. Give your empressions theatrical performance.

There are not many theatres in my town, but they are all very popular with the public. I am a theatre lover, too. As for me, I prefer drama to all other theatres, but I also like opera and musical comedy. I’ll never forget my first visit to the Opera and Ballet Theatre. My friend and I wanted to see the famous ballet “Swan Lake” by Tchaikovskyi. We bought the tickets in advance and came to the theatre half an hour before the show. At 7 sharp the performance began. From the very first minute I was deeply impressed by everything I saw on the stage. The costumes were fine. The dancing and music were thrilling. The ballet seemed to me a fairy-tale. I had never seen anything more wonderful. My friend also enjoyed every minute of it. When the curtain fell at the end of the performance, there came a storm of applause. It seemed that it would never end. The dancers received call after call. They were presented with large bouquets of flowers. We also applauded enthusiastically. The performance was a great success.

14. Does violence on television stimulate cruelty in every day life?

This theme is very relevant in our time. There is now a huge number of television channels, which is broadcast every day a lot of movies and programs with elements of violence. Is it good or bad? The answer, in my opinion, is not unambiguous. On the one hand, all these scenes of violence, murder and other such things are very bad influence on children and the mentally unstable people, children begin to behave more aggressively, mimicking on-screen heroes. All this in the future could adversely affect the child's behavior and the formation of his personality in general. According to researchers, there is a direct link between violence on TV and horrifying new crimes among the young. Many young people imprisoned for committing violent crimes report having imitated crime techniques watched on TV. Perhaps, on the other hand the data transmission to show existing atmosphere in society, as if opening a curtain in front of the audience, thus preparing the children (the audience) to the aggression in the world that now exists.
