Summary and outlook for the future.
Having outlined the environmental policies in Russia and the US we can draw at least to conclusions.
First, the environmental problems Russians and Americans are faced with are similar but the approaches to environmental problems in Russia and the US are different. You can see these differences if you have a look at Table 2.

Table 2. Strategic environmental goals
Unlike Russia the US allocates more money for environmental protection The explanation is simple: US gross domestic product is much greater than that of Russia.
Unlike the US Russia is dumping not only its own nuclear waste but some nuclear waste from other countries. I don’t think it’s a wise policy.
Survey: hypothesis, procedure and results
At present it is very important for every member of society to conserve the environment. We all must do what we can to realise this noble goal.
Aim
The aim of this survey is to define how environmentally – conscious our classmates are, how deeply an environmental consciousness has integrated into their everyday life.
Procedure
For this purpose 10 classmates were asked 10 questions to find out how often they do things that can be regarded as bad or good for the environment. Of course, they were unaware of the real purpose of the survey. To conceal it 5 misleading questions, which have nothing to do with the environment, were included in the list. In addition, the classmates were not required to indicate their surnames.
Hypothesis
It was expected that most teenagers are not conscious of the importance of being environmentally green and energy efficient or don’t care about it.
Questionnaire
The purpose of this survey is to define how often we do various things in our everyday life. Always? Occasionally? Never?
You are kindly requested to answer the following questions by putting a cross (+) in one of the columns.
