In my opinion, nowadays young people are not as healthy as they used to be 50 years ago.
Eat lots of GM food, junk and fast food which is harmful
Have bad habits which lead to serious diseases, Have a lot of stresses
Are addicted to computers and watch TV too much, lead sedentary way of life, suffer from hypodinamiya . As a result, they put on weight, become obese, suffer from heart diseases
However,
many people ignore these facts saying that our health is improving due to modern medical care.
We don’t die of such diseases as pneumonia but our health is getting worse because we eat food with different harmful additives, drink polluted water.
What is more, we must admit that many teenagers today are threatened by such incurable diseases as AIDS and hepatitis.
In conclusion, it is neccerary to realize that our society should pay more attention to the health of younger generation because it is the basis of our future development. But teenagers themselves should think seriously about their health, do sports, keep fit, deal with stresses.
