Задание 1. Прочитайте и переведите текст:

Equipment for macaroni foods production

Macaroni are very popular due to their reasonable price. A great demand for pastas existing today and high price for the imported pasta production equipment stimulated ROSS to develop up-to-date equipment for pasta production. Based on

many years’ activity in food-processing equipment and experience gained by the Company’s specialists at Italian factories, ROSS launched serial manufacturing of pastas lines in 1995.

Advanced technologies and ingenious technologic solutions are implemented in our equipment. Power-saving, long service and easy operation and maintenance along with a wide range of pastas (over 30 kinds) produced on our equipment gave their result: today our equipment is well known and recognized not only in Ukraine and Russia, but outside these countries, too.

Major process stages in pasta production are: preparation of raw material; making dough; dough pressing; raw pasta cutting; drying; cooling (stabilization) of dried product; packing of the ready-made product. Production process of any conventional pastas includes all these stages, but the set of equipment may be different.

ROSS manufactures the equipment to fulfill all the above-listed process operations of pasta production. Examples: preparation of flour and separation of

metal-magnetic impurities is performed with sifters; dough making, molding and cutting of pasta products are effected by presses of various design-without or with air removal (vacuum).

Pasta drying is effected in drying chambers with control of the conditions inside the chamber or in vibrating dryers. Apportioning and packing of the ready-made products are done by packaging and weighing machines. ROSS equipment is multipurpose, it may be used in any pasta production process.

Pasta press is used to produce pastas of the dough. SPA ROSS supplies several pasta press models of different productivity (25 to 200 kg/hour), suitable for pasta production facilities of any productivity.
