2.4 Precision engineering
Leading branches of precision mechanical engineering — instrumentation, radio engineering and electronic mechanical engineering, the electrotechnical industry. Production of branches of this group is exclusively various — these are optical devices, personal computers, radio-electronic equipment, aviation devices, fiber optics, lasers and completing elements, watches.
The instrumentation of Ukraine includes production of various devices for control, measurements, and also computer aids, automatic equipment and etc. On instrumentation placements influence renders existence highly skilled technical and personnel. The centers of instrumentation is big high school and scientific center where prepare such shots. Devices of control and regulation of technological processes let out in Kiev, Odessa, Lutsk, Kharkov. The largest centers of production of electric devices is Kiev, Zhitomir; radio measuring devices Lviv, Uzhgorod, Kiev; devices for mechanization and automation of engineering and administrative work Kirovograd, Uman, Kharkov, computer aids - Kiev, Vinnytsia, Chernovtsy; optiko-mechanical devices and equipment Kharkov, Sumy, Odessa.
Electrical industry manufactures products for the energy systems: transformers, generators, motors, high-voltage equipment. Centers - Donetsk, Odessa, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Kharkiv.
The enterprises of power mechanical engineering of Ukraine work stably that helped considerably by the cooperation communications adjusted still during the Soviet period. So, following the results of January of this year the enterprises of Energomash showed a gain of volume of production for 17 % in comparison with the similar period of 2011, and for last year — for 14.7 % while as a whole industrial production growth for January in Ukraine made 2 %, and for 2011 — 7.6%.
According to experts, in the near future the Ukrainian power mechanical engineering isn't threatened also by crisis. On a forecast of the International power agency, till 2030 in the world it is planned to place in operation new power plants in the general capacity of 4800 GVT. A half of these capacities will be constructed in developing countries where positions of the Ukrainian power mechanicians are very strong. And the main buyer of production of the Ukrainian enterprises — Russia — intends to place only in the next ten years in operation 20 nuclear power units.
For 2011 among the enterprises of Energomash PAO "Zaporozhtransformator" entering into Energy Standard group of Konstantin Grigorishina showed the greatest profit. According to the reporting, the profit grew in 2.6 times, to 912.54 million UAH. Thus the income of realization increased by 58 %, to 3.717 billion UAH. This enterprise in 2011 most actively worked at the markets of foreign countries, having agreed about deliveries of transformers to Argentina for the CTM Salto Grande company, to Angola — for the local state company ENE, in the USA — for a solar power station of Solana of Abengoa group of companies. The contract for delivery of 33 transformers in India became serious achievement of 2011.
