Introduction
The purpose of the essay is to study essence of engineering industry, the branch structure of mechanical engineering and groups of fields in engineering. Also we should consider the machine-building complex of Ukraine, its advantages and disadvantages.
The tasks of our essay are:
to study the essence of engineering industry;
to observe branch structure of mechanical engineering;
to know groups of fields in engineering;
to investigate the machine-building complex of Ukraine;
to determine its peculiarities;
to consider prospects of development of machine-building complex of Ukraine.
In first chapter the definition of engineering industry, its structure and features are considered. Also the division of mechanical engineering into four groups is observed. And the role of Ukraine in engineering industry is defined.
In second chapter the achievements of Ukraine in heavy, general, medium and precision engineering are considered. Also in this section the prospects of development of machine-building complex of Ukraine are observed.
At the formation of the content of this essay information from Internet recourses and different electronic encyclopedias are used.
