Организационный момент: взаимное приветствие, проверка отсутствующих, состояния аудитории, рабочих мест и внешнего вида студентов, организация внимания.

Let’s begin our lesson with speech drill.

The theme of our lesson is « Hippocrates – «The Father of Medicine»

We’ll have an unusual lesson . Today we’ll have a talk about one of the famous Greek scientist Hippocrates.

Objectives of the lesson are : at the lesson you will:

  1. learn new words and word-combinations on the topic;

  2. develop reading skills;

  3. answer questions;

  4. practice your Grammar: the using of the verbs «to be» «to have», you’ll see the presentation of the verbs;

  5. read the dialogue «The Hippocratic Oath»;

  6. retell the text about Hippocrates.
