Present Simple of the there is / there are

Конструкция there is/there are употребляется, когда необходимо сообщить, что в каком-то месте находится предмет (предметы)

Если предложение включает несколько подлежащих, то глагол BE согласуется с тем из них, которое следует непосредственно за конструкцией.
