‘At the estate agency’

JOHN: Good morning!

ESTATE AGENT: Good morning! Can I help you?

JOHN: Yes. We want to buy a house in Bumpy Hills. We have recently married, and so, well, we’re first time buyers.

ESTATE AGENT: I see, well, what sort of price range do you prefer?

JOHN: Nothing too expensive. But we are also planning on starting a family and we would like to move immediately.

ESTATE AGENT: So, you would like a house with a bit of extra space.

JOHN: Yes, but not too expensive.

ESTATE AGENT: Well, these properties may interest you. This property, for example? On Lane Street.

JOHN: Yes. I think I saw the advertisement in the local newspaper and we liked very much. But we think the price is too high.

ESTATE AGENT: Would you like to see the property? Then we could arrange a time…

JOHN: Yes, I think it would be fine.

ESTATE AGENT: Fine, I’ll contact the owners and call you back. Do you have a telephone number?

JOHN: Yes, phone us on 563702.

ESTATE AGENT: Excellent. Well, I hope you like the property, and I’ll call you as soon as possible.

JOHN: Many thanks.
