# 3 HTC One X
One of the first phones to launch with Ice Cream Sandwich, HTC’s new flagship, the HTC One X, is the most powerful Android mobile of the moment. A 1.5GHz quad-core processor and eight-meg camera with dedicated imaging chip are paired with some very canny collaborations, with HTC roping in Beats Audio to handle the audio and adding Dropbox integration for a smoother cloud experience. It’s all topped off by a gargantuan, 4.7-inch, 720p screen.
# 4 LG 55EM960V OLED TV
This telly is 55 inches across, only 5mm deep, has next to no bezel and, with its Organic Light-Emitting Diode panel, looks very much like the future. Sure, OLED screens have been around for years, but never at this size in a consumer device – Sony’s trailblazing XEL-1 was only 11 inches, remember – and LG’s set brings with it “infinite” contrast, blink-of-the-eye response times, wide viewing angles and envious glares from the tragic possessors of older, dowdier sets.
# 5 Asus PadFone
The screen grows to 10.1 inches, battery life is extended and you have two great gadgets for the price of one, with – most impressively – only a single 3G data plan required between them. Very nice, and you can even plug the Asus Transformer Prime’s keyboard in to turn it into a laptop. The stylus that doubles as a headset is back in “funny turn” territory, mind.
