There are many people who declare that they do not believe in Physiognomy, and yet, if their opinion of a stran­ger is asked, they are perfectly willing at once to give their impressions of his or her character based upon faci­al signs.The proverb "the face is the index of mind" may prove useful if people tend to judge a person's character from his facial features. People usually say that a very full mouth suggests a very open warm character. Tight, compressed, thin lips suggest a person who is rather mean, spiteful, cunning. A round chin we call a generous chin and it also suggests a very outgoing character. If the реrson has a very joyful expression on, his face, a ready spontaneous kind of smile we could be deal­ing with a sanguine type. Sanguine people are cheerful, confident, energetic. A choleric temperament denotes a person hasty in all his or her actions, irritated, inclined to anger. A melancholic type indicates a body of slow growth, but a mind of great activity, these persons a great thinkers. Phlegmatic people are dull, cold, indifferent.The study of a person's eyes is very interesting. In different moods they will indicate love, mercy, wrath and revenge. The eyes have, been rightly called the mirror of the soul. The best way to define a person's character is by observing his behavior and manners. Talking human relationships let us hope that politeness and courtesy are not dying. Let me tell a few words about my character. I`m active and energetic person. But very often I can be shy. Lack of confidance also makes me indecisive. And it disturbs me very much. Other people think that I’m boring and stupid sometimes. In fact I like to communicate with people. I am a good humoured, very responsible, hard working and emotional person. And I`m not a sort of person who shows off. I like creativity and appreciate this trait in others. I don't like to lie and I feel when others do. I try not to be late and I hate when others don't come on time. It is very annoying when somebody whom I trust turns out to be unreliable. My star is Virgo. I agree that I am quiet and shy. But I don`t keep myself to myself. I prefer to play a supporting role at work and in relationships. Also I have qualities other stars. I am sympathetic, tolerant and a good listener, so when a friends needs a shoulder to cry on, they turn to me. Also I very sensitive and easily hurt. If someone says an unkind word to me. I take it to heart, but I am very forgiving. So the message is:еhe more bright and good- tempered people we have around us the happier we shall be.

Student`s life

The demand for competent specialists has grown greatly in our time and that is why the governments all over the world show con­stant concern for the development of higher education.There are now thousands of students studying at Universities and institutes of Higher Education. Those who call themselves “students” will start working tomorrow and their knowledge will largely deter mine the country s future.According to the dictionary, the Latin word “student” means “one devoted learning”. Indeed the chief task of a student is to learn. Students are very busy people, they work hard to become good spe­cialists. Higher education is provided by universities, academies, specialized and polytechnical institutes. Tuition rests on a board scientific basis, lectures on theory are combined practical classes. The early years are devoted to general science In the first and second years there is a common curriculum for all related faculties. Speciali­zation usually begins in the third or fourth year. There are foreign languages and physical training classes at all institutes and universi­ties. At the end of each term students take tests on practical work and examinations on theory. After graduating all students receive diplo­mas qualifying them as specialists in a given field. But at the classes student do not only master the program mate­rial of higher educational establihment. At the same time they culti­vate habits of researches. They have every opportunity to carry out their researching. Their teachers very often outstanding scientists - help them in their work. But our students do not only study, but also take part in public life. Student councils and various societies are in charge of the social activities of students; they organize the system of self-management at higher schools and hostels, arrange rest and recreation facilitiesThere are many societies and clubs, enough for every interest one could imagine. Students organize auctions and fairs, participate in amateur concerts. There are political, sporting, foreign languages and dramatic societies. Students take part in debates and forums, which are sometimes broadcast, reflecting what the youth is thinking and feeling. Students go on excursions. They are fond of visiting museums and art galleries. Almost all students go in for sports. Many higher edu­cational establishments have stadiums, gyms, swimming pools and game areas. Some students work in summer to earn money and get experience. Thus young people try to make the best of their student years.

What`s your line?

School! Lessons, games, clubs, homework. A bell rings. You go to a classroom. A bell rings. You have lunch. A bell rings. You go home. But one day you go to school or the last time. What to do alter that? You realize that the time to choose one job out of the hundreds has come. It's going to be a hard choice and nobody can make it for you, Before you can choose, you ask yourself quite a lot of questions. What do you know you are good at? What do you enjoy doing? Perhaps you enjoy working with your hands. Or you may prefer using your head

your brains. Are you interested in machines? Or do you like meeting people? It's difficult to know all the answers to these questions until you have left school and actually begun work.

Many young people consider leaching as a career. It's not surprising: after your parents your teacher may be the most important person in your life. With all the teachers you meet, you think there isn't anything you don’t know about the work. That's where you are wrong, since only those who are in it can appreciate it. Have you ever asked yourself why most teachers are so devoted to their work and privately think, though they may not like to admit it openly, that they serve humanity doing the most vital job of all? Those of us who spend our days in schools know how rewarding the job is. At the same time it is not easy and a real challenge to your character, abilities and talent, as teaching is a constant stream of decisions.Children in your classroom aren't just boys and girls. К very one is a unique individual who has never been before and will never again exist. If you like people, you will love teaching. To be a good teacher you must be genuinely interested in what you are doing.The most important things in the world are awareness and learning wanting to know every day of your life more and more and more. Because every time you learn something new you become something new-. An ignorant teacher teaches ignorance, a fearful teacher teaches fear, a bored teacher teaches boredom. But a good teacher catalyzes in his pupils the burning desire to know and love for the truth and beauty.John Steinbeck, writing about his school days said. "I've come to believe that a great teacher is a great artist and you know how few great artists there are in the world, reaching might even be the greatest of the arts since its medium is the human mind and the human spirit." What an incredible responsibility to be the guardians of the human spirit and the human mind! I think, that is the reason why humanity has the deepest respect for teachers.

I would never stop teaching and I'm sure that you. having chosen it for your career, feel the same way. If you don't feel that way then, please, tor all our sakes. get out! The human mind and the human spirit are too wondrous to destroy. But if you are prepared to accept the responsibility. I wish you all the luck in the world.
