ІІ. Граматичний матеріал. Тема: Звороти there is, there are.
Когда мы говорим о местоположении какого-нибудь предмета или лица мы используем структуру there is/are (где то что то есть, существует): There is a book on the table.( На столе находится книга) There are books on the table.(На столе находятся книги) Структура there is используется перед неисчисляемыми сущ., и сущ. в единственном числе. Структура there are используется перед исчисляемыми существительными во множественном числе. Обратите внимание на порядок слов в данной конструкции. There is/are что где There are many boys in the class. There is a pen in the bag.
Глагол are/is меняется с подлежащим местами в вопросительном предложении: Are there any letters for me? Для меня есть письма? Is there milk or juice in the glass? В стакане есть молоко или сок?
