Тext 3в Driver's Licenses in the United States

Each of the 50 states has responsibility for regulating driver's licenses. For example, in New York State a person can get a restricted, or junior, license to drive at age 16. If you are at least 18 years old, you can get a full license. But first every driver must get a learner's permit. This allows a person to learn to drive with an adult driver in the car. A learner has to pass both a written test and a driving, or a road, test, in order to get a driver's license.

Many states offer driver-education classes in the high schools. These classes teach students to drive and to obey the rules of the road. In many states, if a learner has completed a driver-education class and is 17 years old, he or she is eligible to take the written and the road tests. If the student passes both tests, he or she will get a full driver's license.

19 Чтобы получить водительские права в США вы должны сдать два теста: письменный тест и тест по вождению. Попытайтесь выполнить следующий тест, даже если вы не водите машину. Выберите правильный ответ.
