Summary

This course work is dedicated to the researches of the great theorist of the international law and publicist Vasiliy Malinowskiy whose ideas are contributed to the development of the doctrine of absolute pacifism and general abolition of war.

The perscrutation of the tratctates written by V.F. Malinowskiy is highly important nowadays for a number of reasons. First of all, work of this bright enlightener of the golden age of the Russian Empire was not analyzed deeply enough to trace any impact of his theories on modern society, politics and of course international law. Moreover, despite the fact that the number of devastating wars has been decreased in the past years we still have to face this problem to a certain extent.

The perscrutation of the tractates written by V.F. Malinowskiy is highly important nowadays for a number of reasons. First of all, work of this bright enlightener of the golden age of the Russian Empire was not analyzed deeply enough to trace any impact of his theories on modern society, politics and of course international law. Moreover, despite the fact that the number of devastating wars has been decreased in the past years we still have to face this problem to a certain extent. The idea of perpetual peace that was praised by a lot of philosophers and theorists of law appears to be quite topical and applicable in terms of national security and protection of the whole humanity.

The main goal of this course work is considered to be the all-round comprehension of the main ideas proclaimed by V.F. Malinowskiy in his fundamental work “Thoughts on peace and war” and to elicit an influence of these concepts on the modern international law. On the assumption of the stated aim we can educe certain objectives such as:

- Research of the concepts that were evolved by V.F. Malinowskiy,

- Assay of the main works of his foreign predecessors to disclose the correlation with the ideas proposed by the author of “Thoughts on peace and war”,

- Disclosure of the influence of the propositions and concepts created by V.F. Malinowskiy on life of the modern society.

This study demonstrates that the concepts of pacifism and unification of the countries all over the world that were developed by V. F. Malinowskiy has its certain impact on the march of history despite the fact that practical propositions of this bright man were implemented in real life much later than the work of his life – “Thoughts on peace and war” – was published.

1Успешно окончив философский факультет Московского государственного университета, Василий Федорович Малиновский был направлен в составе дипломатической миссии в Лондон, после чего, через несколько лет, был переведен в Яссы, в качестве переводчика для конгресса, завершившего русско-турецкую войну 1787-92 гг.
