− очная форма обучения – M.Sc. in Mathematics and the Foundations of Computer Science;
M.Sc. in Software Engi-
neering и M.Sc. in Software and Systems Security.
M.Sc. Mathematics and Foundations of Computer Science
(Schedule I – базовый, II – продвинутый) [4]:
−Секция A – (Section A): теоретический – математический блок (Mathematical Foundations);
(Applicable Theories).

Computing Laboratory.
Mathematical and Computational Finance (реализуемой совместно с факультетом статистики), M.Sc.
in Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing и др.
Computational Systems Biology,
M.Sc. by Research in Computer Science и D.Phil. in Computer Science.
15
лаборатории Computing Laboratory факультета Computer Science.
Sciences Interface Doctoral Training Centre – LSI DTC (Доктор-
Department of Physics);
−Medical Imaging and Signals (реализует факультет компьютерных наук – Department of Engineering Science);
−Bioinformatics, Evolution and Genetics (реализует факультет статистики – Department of Statistics);
Computing Laboratory).
− Life Sciences;
16
PNRPU
−Systems Biology;
−Systems Approaches to Biomedical Science (реализуется совместно с Industrial Doctorate Centre (IDC)).
scientific computing, computer programming, and statistical methods);
techniques, biological physics).

Following on from the intensive training provided in the core courses and advanced courses over the first two terms, students spend the remainder of their first year undertaking two 10-week research projects in two different research groups within the university, which are tailored to meet the likely requirements of their substantive D.Phil. project. Students are encouraged to undertake one primarily theoretical, and one primarily experimental rotation. Students are required
19
to write a short dissertation on each of these rotations, written in the style of
a journal article.
